OCTANE is a freely expandable simulation platform for automotive applications, aiming at covering all essential automotive areas, which will be released as an open-source project. The license model aims at facilitating a wide application of OCTANE and at setting as few boundaries as possible, so that private individuals, as well as research institutions and industrial enterprises, are able to use OCTANE for their individual purposes.
